Config mirror page lets users to define Mirror Rule and these rules are purely customizable only after user defined a mirror rule. It is very easy to create a mirror. Here, this page explains about Config Mirror features in details and it’s abilities which helps users to spend less time while creating mirror.
▶️ Action Items
Action Items are visible only after you add a Mirror. These action can helps user to customize/clone or remove existing mirror.
➕ Add Mirror
Click on Add Mirror button to top of mirror table to open add mirror dialog.
Add Mirror dialog lets user to add new mirror and display in Config Admin Page.
✏️ Edit Mirror
Click on ✏️ edit icon on action items to open edit mirror dialog.
Edit Mirror dialog lets user to add new mirror and display in Config Admin Page.
Hit on edit button if there are any modification or cancel to exit
⬇️ Clone Mirror
Click on ⬇️ clone icon button on action items to open clone dialog.
Clone feature lets user to clone existing mirror rule and its data along with exiting mapping rule.
Enter unique name for clone rule and click on clone button to create a new mirror.
🚮 Delete Mirror
Delete Mirror comes up with a delete icon as a action item which helps user to delete existing mirror rule.
It comes up with a confirm message with mirror rule name.
Hit ok, if user want to delete the existing mirror or cancel to revert delete operation.

🧠 Mirror Check
1) Mirror Name Check
Mirrors are unique and user cannot add mirror without a unique mirror name.
Mirror widget helps user to add a unique name for mirror.
Mirror shows a warning sign if there are any existing mirror with same name.
Warning sign turns off and shows true icons if none exists and allows user to add mirror.
User is allowed to create mirror with same name with any different possible cases.
2) Map to Project Check
Mirror Project name shows a list of projects which are available in your Jira instance.
Map to project field cannot be empty. It shows a warning alert on click of add mirror rule button.
3) Map to Issue Type Check
Mirror Issue Type shows a list of Issue-Types which are available in your Jira instance.
Map to Issue Type cannot be empty. It shows a warning alert on click of add mirror rule button.
📏 Mapping Rule
Mapping Rule allows user to get data of source issue fields and reflect on create/edit issue screens.
Mapping Rule allows user to map direct source fields to destination fields or single source field to many destination fields.
