What is Asset QR Manager?

Asset QR Manager is designed to simplify asset identification and tracking by using QR codes integrated with Jira Service Management Assets.

With this app, you can:

  • Generate QR codes for Jira Assets

  • Print QR labels (24mm height) or download QR codes as PNG

  • Scan QR codes directly from the browser

  • Automatically update asset fields (Text / Date type) on every scan

  • Configure Modes to control which fields are updated

  • Track scan history for each asset

How Asset QR Manager Works

  1. Select an Asset from Jira Assets

  2. Generate a QR code containing key asset attributes

  3. Print or attach the QR to the physical asset

  4. Scan the QR using the app

  5. Asset fields are auto-updated based on the selected Mode
